Terrifier 2:
Camera shots, angles, movements, focus and framing observations

The first scene in the opening of this movie contains a shot of candles on a desk moving slowly to the left showing all the bright candle lights. The scene immediately after shows a montage zoom in shots of the different posters in the room to help the audience get an idea of who this person is. The next scenes show what's on the girls desk, this helps the audience figure out what she is doing. The audience can see that she is doing some sort of arts and crafts. There are blurry shots, and close up shots of her cutting fabric. Then after about a couple of scenes later it cuts to a black screen with red text giving the intro credits.

Editing techniques and the tone or mood they create

The editing pulls together the scene very well because it helps establish what the character is doing and gives an idea to the audience who the character is. The mood that is created through this is an exciting mood because you can see what actor is creating and it gets you intrigued to find out more about the character.

Sound techniques and the mood they create

The music that is playing in the beginning of the film is a upbeat song which gets the audience to get hype for whatever comes next. The music also pulls the audience in because Terrifer is a horror movie however they're play energetic music which makes the audience pay attention more.

Mise-en-scene techniques

The candles makes the lighting warm and cozy in the intro. The actor is wearing comfortable clothes, showing an average teenage girl. Her makeup is very minimal, showing she is comfortable at home making an art project. The setting is her room, and the camera shows a lot of cuts to different part of her room allowing the audience to get a feel of who the character is as a person. The props that were used were, scissors, different types of fabrics, craft material, clay, glue, exc.. These props shows that the actors is making an arts and craft project, and towards the end of the opening scene it shows us that she was creating angel winds for her Halloween costume.

WAfter the different shots of the actor putting her costume together finishes, it gets cut to a black screen with red text that give the names of the people in the film. I think this is a good opening credit example because the black background and red text really ties in the horror element.
