Week 1: Issues Preproduction
First Blog!! (and some complications)
Recently, I experienced my partners kicking me out of their group because of my availability. It was a little jarring and hurtful in the beginning but after a day I decided that this was probably for the best. I live about an hour from my school therefore it would be hard to meet up with them to film. Instead of worrying about two other peoples schedule which might not even align with my own, I decided to film this whole project alone.
The first day was very unmotivating considering my group and I had our film completely planned out, but after about a day I brain stormed at home and became motivated very fast. In my initial group the genre of our film was going to be "Coming of Age" however I was always a big horror fanatic. So I quickly came to the conclusion working alone and creating my own thoughts and ideas was going to be way more rewarding then helping film a movie that I wasn't passionate about. After about a day a came up with my story board, and I am actively working on my script. I just know working alone on this project is going to feel very rewarding
I am here to share my journey for these long 8 weeks!!
