                                                                       Planning/Ideas!!

This week I've decided to do some research before I really dive into making my horror film. Throughout the week I've thought of some ideas and I've asked my  friends to be my actors and they agreed! I will create another blog for you guys so you can see who the new upcoming actors are! Here is a video I watched that gave me some ideas for this project: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJ5Hdflxu-I.

In a horror film we always have a threat. The threat is what the audience is going to pay most attention to and what creates the whole plot of the story. After the threat, thats where the suspense comes into play. Making your audience scared is a hard task, so the best way to do it is by create suspense which pulls them in and makes them want more. I am definitely going to create a lot of suspense in my film, this way I won't reveal the threat however I'll get the audience on the edge of their seat and make them want more by creating tension.

Another important thing I learned is that there are always rules in a horror film. The main rule is having consistent logic throughout your story. The audience won't doubt what you're creating if every little details ties into one another, throughout the film there shouldn't be any plot holes, every detail matters.

Those are just some things I've grasped from the video I watched and I believe those rules are very important to follow. Anyway, I will keep you guys updated on what I plan on doing next!
