 Hi guys! I recently just got back from break, and I wanted to update you guys on a couple of things. First off last Monday I decided to start organizing the clips that I previously filmed a couple of weeks ago. I had most of the scenes done. When I started filming originally, I decided to do the harder scenes first. However, over break I wanted to get the rest of the scenes done with my two actors. The annoying part was my main actor decided to leave town without giving me a heads up so my whole plan of filming over break got ruined.  The good news is my mom recently just got the new iPhone 17 pro and I asked her if we can use it for filming and she said yes! I talked to my teacher about the camera quality and he told me that the iPhone 17 pro has way better quality than his camera. So I asked him if it would be a better idea filming on that and he told me yes. Now my new equipment is the iPhone 17 pro!   Filming Hey guys! I have finished the filming of my new movie Panik, let me tell you how it went.  Filming early on with the camera that was given to me by my teacher didn't really go well. I ran into a couple of complications since I never really used a professional camera before. Using the gimbal overall was a little difficult because it takes awhile to set up. Balancing the device is really difficult. I learned how to use it when my teacher showed me but once I got home the camera wasn't as balanced as it was when  my teacher did it. No matter how much I tried to mess with it, it just wouldn't balance properly.  The camera was super hard to focus initially. I learned that if you halfway hold down the photo button it focuses the camera. The first night we started filming I didn't get all the clips I needed, and the second time we filmed I realized it was probably a better idea to shoot with equipment I am more comfortable using since I'm the only one working on ...

       I decided that the best software to edit my project on would be adobe premier pro 2025! I chose this software because I feel very comfortable with it. I have used adobe freshmen year in my photography class so when I started my media studies class I already was familiar with this software.  I've also used adobe throughout my media studies class to film other project so I'm very familiar with the program.      I am using this opportunity to learn even more about the software because I want to create a very professional movie! I am excited to explore more about sound and editing overall. For the poster of the movie, I haven't yet decided what app I want to use. I will update you guys on my poster and everything else next week!

The Meaning Behind My Film Essentially, I started off this project knowing I wanted to do a horror genre, however not knowing anything else. I was in class brainstorming ideas for what the name could be before I even figured out what my film was going to be about. I went onto chatgpt to give me horror movie idea names and that didn't help me one bit because they were all generic.  As I was creating my story board right as I got to the scene where the end of the movie is, I randomly came up with the idea "Panik". This name is perfect for what the movie is because throughout the whole 2 minuets the audience is in a constant panic. There are scenes where an anonymous person is messaging the main character, the antagonist is watching the character outside the window, and, scenes the tv turns the a broadcast announcement.      Why I called the title "Panik" and not instead of "Panic" was because my main actor's name is "Nick" and I thought it ...

  Locations on set The locations that I am going to be filming at is my living room/kitchen and bedroom. I chose these two locations because it is going to be the easiest to film at. Since I am working by myself I am going to do it from home which is nice because since I live far from school I wouldn't have to meet up with anyone.
